Deadbeat Dad?

I would go see a lawyer, and if the deadbeat wont sign papers giving the child up, get a court order he pays child support. If you get the order and he doesnt pay, most states consider it a felony and he could go to prison. As far as the grandparents, are they being sincere in wanting to see the child? If so, realize it isnt their fault the father is a deadbeat. Imagine having a child or grandchild out there you never get to see. THat isnt fair to the grandparent. If they are sincere, meet them at a nuetral location, just make sure it is out in the public view and have someone go with you. But dont hold it against the grandparent, they have rights to. But take Mr Deadbeat back to court!
