When you get angry, and want to react, hit the pause on, and think your reaction through. Thinking is the only defense to being angry. In your mind, exchange places with the one you're mad at: what wold make you want to do what they did? My automatic reaction now (I used to have an anger-management problem) is to say a prayer asking God to control my reaction/make it right, and react how I think best, not always how I want to!
