Do you ever feel the physical (in terms of relationships) is very limited?

I just had with my new gf for the first time last night and i cant help but feel that yes it felt really good but afterward i was thinking to myself "wow...so thats the most a person can give to another physically." to me..the bonds between us and just the caring eyes she gives me when we meet feels much deeper than the we had last night (which was just because we were both really horny). anyone else feel this way before? i guess i just felt it was a bit of an unsettling thought how limited the physical really is.
