How important do you think having a biological father is in a persons life?

Well, I was lucky enough to have both my parents but have friends who dont and they turned out just fine. they each had a male role model growing up (weather it be moms signifigant other, a grandfather, whatever) and I think that as long as there is a positive male involved thats all that matters.
