What happened to America? To Americans?

People of younger age are being taught different subjects then we were in school. The main objectives then was the constitution, patriotism, economics, balanced budgets, and etc. The weakness also comes from younger ones expecting the world instantly from whomever gave it to them first. Pioneers are suppose to make it on their own, today folks think they are owed a living. I don't have to go on , we know the drill. No one handed me any freebies! I always wanted to help the less fortunate but now I feel selfish because they don't ask they just insist.
