He's fine. He's just getting used to his new surroundings. That a big change for him, so he's probably both stressed and curious. He should fall back into his nocturnal routine in a few days. If not, the person who had him before you may have had him up during the day and he may have became diurnal, though I'm guessing this is highly unlikely. Just be sure that he's got a safe and quiet place during the day. If the room is too noisy, it may be keeping him up. Good luck!

How common is for a dog to survive rabies with no obvious symptoms and infect people without biting 'em badly?

The dog in question is a year old, not vaccinated. He used to be a nibbler when he was little (barely breaking the skin), now he's a licker. I sometimes get my arms scratched by gooseberry bushes and whatnot. And I pop zits until they bleed (omg what was I thinking?!). We live in a city, where no cases of rabies have been reported this year yet. He's an outdoor dog, kennel-chained, no enclosure. Hedgehogs, stray cants and dogs can come near him. He's been ill a month ago (diagnosed with some minor ailment). I've just read horrible things about rabies and can't sleep... What should I do?

Please Give me advice for my girlfriend trouble?

I don't know how to approach this problem of mine. I've been with my girlfriend for about 8 1/2 months, and I still can't seem to relax around her SOMETIMES. It is very strange. Miniature Doberman Pinscher Help!?

HELP! My neighbors just gave me miniature doberman pinscher out of no where and took off. The dog appears to be about a year old. I was happy because i live alone and i thought that a dog would be a great companion. (this is not my 1st time having a dog) Well ive had the dog for over 4-5months now and he is not housebroken. The dog is very scared of me and everyone. If You walk or make any sudden move or noise the dog will run. it is almost impossible to pet it. This makes me believe that the dog was abused. The dog continues to use the bathroom in the house after being let outside SEVERAL times a day. When i put the dog in his cage he uses the bathroom in it as if he hasnt been out in hours. Natural face care products?

Does anybody know of any natural face care products? I used Burt's Bees exfoliating Peach and Willow-bark deep pore scrub and it just made my face feel oily and over moisturized. I like exfoliates and scrubs because it leaves my skin feeling smooth. I don't like using products like clean & clear, Clearasil, etc. because it make my skin have to rely on the product because if i stop using it, then my skin starts breaking out. I'll say that I have only a few pimple breakouts during the month usually during that "time of the month," but nothing major. I also have combination skin, my t-zone is oily and the rest of my face is normal/dry. So can anybody help me out with some natural facial cleansers?

I have a dog that will be 1 on Thursday and I've been looking into this for months now. Most veterinary hospitals now recommend that you get the puppy shots and the rabies then boosters at 1 then nothing again for 3 years unless your state mandates an annual rabies shot. I am going to go by this and I have with my past dogs cause I had a feeling that all these shots are not good for dogs. You can get your dog tested every year also to see immunity to these diseases. I think that this is going to be the norm soon. Most vets know that there is at least a 3 yr immunity but they just want to get the dogs in for their check ups so people won't bring them in for the checkups but will bring them in for shots. So the vets give the shots to please the people. Look it up on any veterinary school website. This is going to be the new wave of the future.

Confused and need advice please!!?

Recently I went to a high risk doctor my doctor switched me to and before I could even say Hi to him out of his mouth comes " no sugar coating, terminate this pregnancy" he wants me to because i have a aneurysm called atrial septal aneurysm with no accompanying asd and some very low pulmonary hypertension. He also told me and my hubby " get your heart fixed, and have another pregnancy, then I will work with you". Well I got a second opinion with another cardiologist because Im not willing to terminate my baby at 16 weeks and my new cardiologist said my blood pressure from pulmonary hypertension is controllable with meds during pregnancy and my aneurysm he will discuss with the mayo clinic doctor that specializes with pregnancy and cardiology. I find out what they have to say on the 24th when they take off my blood pressure monitor. Also that high risk obgyn was wrong and gave me false hope my heart is not fixable. Also he didn't even do any test he just read results from two years ago. Im planning on keeping this baby and I need some reurance or advice and if you can say a little prayer for me and my baby. Im beside myself because I cannot have a abortion and let them cut up my baby into pieces and I cannot die either. I need a prayer. Has anyone ever been through this? I need help. or anything similar and went through with it anyway and came out fine.

ten dollars is a hefty fine? for three months? most library late fees charge like 15 cents a day so you should've been charged .15X90=13.50. count your blessings. also you didn't really have to pay the fee. if you dropped the book in the drop box and never returned again then you could've saved your ten bucks. or you could've called the library and explainded to them that you lost the book and they may have let you slide on the fees if this was a first time offense.

Reoccurring rash on stomach, what is it?

I moved from Texas to Kansas about 2 years ago, and since then, Ive been getting a skin rash that starts on my lower stomach and spreads. I went to the doctor and they gave me some prednisone and steroid cream, but it doesnt seem to be working. He doesn't know exactly what it is. The rash occurs every 6 months or so, starts off with small little bumps, and then turns into a full blown rash(red, blotchy, red marks from where ive scratched*i know, i know*. It itches terribly. This time it's spread to my chest, thighs, and arms. I don't know what to do, since ive been to 3 doctors already, and none of them can figure it out. It usually goes away in about 3-4 weeks. Does anyone have an idea what this is, or whats causing it?

Do I seem abnormal? I'm 22, and about to graduate from college. I've always been very introverted and never had many friends. Right now, I have two friends that I am and constantly around, and I don't really desire anymore. I've dated a few girls in my life, but have had only one serious relationship. My friend's son died early Sunday morning. He was only 20 years old and had no physical problems other than he was bipolar and had severe ADHD. He was on medication for these. I work in retail, and a chipmunk found his way into our receiving area just recently. Today the store manager announced that "Alvin lost his tail. We almost got 'em!" as if it were some hunt we were all to be on. I felt sorry for the chipmunk, because he did lose a good part of his tail in a snap trap. Tomorrow, EcoLab is coming out with heavy duty traps to exterminate the chipmunk, since he has not been shooed out the back door yet. 2000 Ford Explorer EGR? Vac line?

I have a 2000 Ford Explorer 5.0 engine. I have a plastic green line coming off of the EGR valve and two (one red and one white) plastic line coming off of the canister next to the EGR valve. All three of these lines were broken when trying to replace the EGR valve. Trouble code 1401 has came up again stating there is an insufficent flow in the EGR system. HOWEVER, the egr valve was replaced like 20 thousand miles ago. The troublecode was erased but came back on and eventually went out. Now it's back on. I tried reconnecting the plastic lines using rubber boots and the light never came back on until today. I've also noticed whenever going up hill or holding the accelerator steady at a certain point the engine stumbles a bit. Could this be from the plastic lines or possible needing EGR valve?

My indoor cat is 8 1/2 years old and has suddenly developed allergies (not fleas). Took him to the vet got a cortisone shot and stopped his itching but he has developed a habit of refusing to walk on my hardwood floors anymore. B/c of some health issues, i can not have peanuts, peanut er, multivitamins and some other stuff too... Is there anyone out there who knows a better way to gain some good m? that is-withOUT a ton of supplements (illegal or legal). i refuse to go bankrupt on supplements that make me sick. Some more info on me-I have been routinely lifting for about 4-5 years, lowest weight being about 150 and highest about 185. I lift heavy about 4 times a week. A deacon in our church gave a homily one day on the way we can 'meet Christ' in the people we have to deal with in our daily life. He was a 'homeless counselor' and met a homeless man with EVERYTHING going AGAINST HIM ... but that man 'loved God' so much that he 'didn't mind' all of the 'bad things' that came to him, because he said 'maybe that means someone else is having a totally good life ... and that is all I really need.' I think about that all the time ... I've been homeless and so has my husband ... we now have a 'very good life' and we try to 'give to charities that help the homeless' ... whether they want 'off the street' or just need 'a little help' to continue to live 'on the street.' Maybe in that way, we are being 'The Body of Christ' too ... but we don't 'count on it' and so we 'pray' all the time, in all places, when we 'feel the urge' ... to do 'good' to all people, in every 'cirstance' ...

No moisture doesnt get through enamel so the termite spray wont either. I used a a termite spray that came wth a straw sprayer similar to wd30 and you spray it in the termite holes. Please help with a Fedora 15 live iso?

Im having issues with Fedora. Ive downloaded it 4 times now, turned it into a live ISO, and have burned it to disk. Its not working at all. When i boot with the disk in it ignores the disks. When i put in a windows install disk, it boots to there. so i know its not the boot process. Can anyone link me a already prepared live ISO that i can d/l burn to disk and run? I would much prefer Fedora.

Well, you cannot totally predict what a judge will do. 2 good things he has going for him, he is young and has no other criminal record. However, the charges are serious. I doubt he'll get the state law max, which is probably several years. There are sentencing guidelines that judges follow. My guess is, and this is just my guess based on what I have seen, he'll get some jail time, probably a year and then some probation.

GIMP 2.6.11 crashing?

Ah ite mahn deep breaths. In..........out slowly. OK um you sorta left out your GFX card seeing how this is a graphics manipulation program. er Gnu image blah blah blah. If your computer has a control panel I would see ig your GFX card has one. Check the temperature and see if it is overheating. If it doesn't have a GFX control panel like nvidia or ATI don't try to shove a meat thermometer through its' fan. Moving on. Task manager. Have your task manager running while you are taxing gimp and of course during your mundane edits. See what your cores are doing. Are they peeking at 100%. Just because it is a Dual core does not mean that the rendering side of Gimp will have one to itself and the rest of the computer will use the other core. Is your Gimp still the same as it was when you downloaded it? Are there plugins or scripts that you have downloaded and aren't using or didn't work. Was there another program or piece of hardware installed when you installed 2.6?2.6 is stable for me. I have an old school single core too. It only has 1.5 Gigs of RAM. I would definately uninstall this. Wait wait no blowing up. Open Gimp, go to EDIT, preferences. YOur Preferences winfow will popup. CLick on the arrow to the left of the word folder in the pane on the left of the window. Go to each folders. You brushes, scripts, plugins etc. When you say your final goodbyes to each folder copy the contents you want. DO you have literally hunders of brushes like I do and REFUSE to go back to scrawny Gimp. Well just copy the extras you installed and make a folder on your desktop called old Gimp. Inside of that folder make a folder for each part of Gimp. I have one for each. One for brushes, scripts, plugins, gradients etc. If it does every spontaneously combust i can just set a new path. When you click on Brushes for example. It has a path where Gimp looks for brushes. Click the piece of paper on the left of the little path box. Now that the rectangle is active click the folder icon. From there you can direct it to a new place to look and click OK. So you won't be losing your old friends. But I wouldnt do that with your scripts and plugins. I have a feeling you installed a bad plugin. Some plugins are completely dependent on its' conterpart. There is a sharpness tool that will refuse to work and will crash if the rasterizer isn't installed. ANyways it flies over my head but my point is that something you see simple may be more complex than you realize. So when you reinstall Gimp DON't make new paths to your old folders you just created. Simply copy or drag and drop them A FEW AT A TIME into there respective folders inside of Gimp. After that run your computer for a while. this way you can troubleshoot a few at a time. I just can't see it being Gimp. Does it hiccup or lag or just crash. Have you went to Gimp.org and found the forum for your concern? My computer is weaker than yours and my Gimp works good without crashing. yeah Tary uses a Remington but it's not a wet2straight (although she ain't knockin'). unfortunately boxes flat irons aren't very specific. this one is just gray and says 'Remington' which is really stupid but the difference with this one is that has plates the feel like cloth to the touch but it's not. I had my gall bladder and my apendix removed after the 3rd bout and it came back again. I was on very low dose horomone therapy and they had me stop taking it, and I get phlubotomized every 3 weeks for my high hemoglobin. They are going to wait 3 months to see if it helps. Need DESPERATE help with dog's poop eating.?

My dog is coming up on 6 months old. She's a pembroke Welsh corgi. We've tried EVERYTHING to get her to stop, msg, meat tenderizer, stop eating poo pills, vegetables. She just won't stop! Now, I know you're going to say "just clean it up" the thing is, she will HIDE and poop, and HIDE the poop in places like her crate so she can eat it later! She's OBSESSED! Literally, she will hide poop to eat it later. We take her outside to potty and she will sit there sniffing the breeze for a half hour. We think "okay, maybe she doesn't need to go" bring her inside and 10 minutes later she's chewing on a big poop! I DO NOT want to wait till she outgrows it, it's DISGUSTING, she loves to lick people on the feet, hands, mouth, and the more you reprimand her the more she does it in a placating "don't be mad at me" kind of way. It's literally to the point that if she doesn't stop, I don't want to keep her anymore. I am trouble finding a program that can recover bad sectors on my drive, so I can backup my files/data. I have faithfully backup my drives often, but this just suddenly happened without warning . I have a Second Maxtor Hard Drive for backing up data and since there owned by Seagate. I used there diagnostic program to check the drive out which fix's any errors afterwords. But freeze's quarter of the way through and can't get it to finish. I have tried UBootCD and many free programs, but no luck. I have tried to backing up the drive with UBootCD tools, Windows XP Backup program and some others that are free to download. It backup the some the files on the drive that are not bad part of the drive ( bad sectors) , but not all of my files. So need help badly to find a good program can repair the bad sectors and then backup my files/data without losing them. Or finding a program that can backup my files/data even if there is bad sectors. Which I don't know if you can? Please help me out! I am lost and may lose my DATA.

This week we both received letters from the hospital saying we need additional views and tests done. I have to have another mammogram as well as an ultrasound. My mother just has to have another mammogram on one side. My family has no history of cancer. Mom's in her 80's and I'm in my 40's. Nys landlord laws... hazardous electrical problem?

We live in a trailer park in central ny.. Almost all the trailers have old electrical fuse boxes that are clearly a fire hazard. In november we told our landlord about the bad fuse box and he said that he would fix it and never did. A week ago our hotwater tank caught on fire. Can Prozac make me worse?

I've been taking 40 mgs for a few years now and I recently ended up back in the hospital where they increased it to 60mgs. I haven't felt good the past week, my stomach hurts/nauseous and just felt very tired and blah. The past couple days i've always been feeling MORE depressed and having the suicidal thoughts return. Could this be caused by the increase in Prozac? Or am I just getting sick and going back into a depression?
